What does your father do?

What do they really mean, I have no clue,

When they ask me what does my father do?

It seems that they are looking for an answer according to their dictionary,

Will they accept mine, is always a mystery?

I watch them saying excellent! great! when they hear “Engineer” or “Bank manager”,

I seldom wonder will the reply be the same if I say that he is a grocer or a farmer.

I want to ask them does his occupation really matters as much as they say,

When he does the same amount of hard work as they do each day.

The next time you ask me this I want you to realize, that all the parents working for their children are paying an invaluable price.

The price cannot be judged by the profession that may differ from the orthodox view,

But the fact that he is doing greater than his capability makes him equally superior as you.
