The gathering of witches and wizards.
Never in its 59 years existence has a political party shown so much desperation in its bid to remain in power despite its abysmal and woeful performances as a government. It may, after all, be correct that “he whom the gods want to destroy, he first makes mad” as the brazen show of shameless reasoning has now been identified as a major sign of ” Clear Madness ” as exhibited by the All Progressive Congress (APC), the ruling political party of Nigeria.
Over the years, political parties have sold their manifesto and plans to the people, giving the people a chance to decide which party’s ideals best suits their hopes and aspirations, but sadly the reverse is the case in Nigeria, as a ruling party bereft of any other achievements to sell the Nigerian electorate, has decided to superimpose it’s “broom logo” at the seat of the nation’s capital ostensibly to force it down the throat of all and sundry, whether it be morally right or fair to the sensibility of Nigerians.
This brazen show of desperation can as best be described as “the lowest ebb any political party can go in its bid to hold on to power, deploying any means necessary including the erecting of an abode (for its official party logo) right at the center of the nations capital, thus creating a perfect coven for the gathering of witches and wizards, which will further perpetuate their evil plans at the epicenter of the nations capital which symbolizes the country’s Strength and Unity. But alas the Nigerian people may not be as dumb as the ruling party suggests or assume giving to the lame excuse of not having a hand in the building of this monstrous epitaph right at the gates to the soul of the nation.
It is therefore imperative that all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliations come to the realization and agree that we all have a country to uphold and defend, lest her spoils be shed abroad in the years to come, as generations yet unborn will certainly question our sensibility on the roles played by noble men when the country was in dire straits and needed the voices of these noblemen in safeguarding the affairs of the country.
The rules as applied for all men ought to be fair or must be seen to be fair as only that can truly prove the strength to each as permitted by God and man.
That evil epitaph must be brought down having been disclaimed by the ruling party and instead build a more befitting “Giant Epitaph ” which will rather symbolize our Unity, Strength and Diversity so that those yet unborn may truly know that indeed “there was a country ” and noblemen stood tall when that clarion call was made.
