Even the greatest philosopher would agree that life is all about changes; without change, life becomes less meaningful. Anything that exhibit life is expected to exhibit growth and growth is simply a change.
Talking about growth, it comes in different ways and forms, but the concept is constant A CHANGE. Basing on the message I aim to deliver here, let’s get the wheels rolling as follows;
“Life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning, and we bring it to life. It is a waste to be asking the question when you are the answer” by Joseph Campbell.
The above quote says it all; no one can deny that everybody strives to be better and greater in life with exception to abnormalities. We always seek to live a better life, but in most cases, we achieve little and end up living well or even worse instead of better. The picture is in our heads, we know what we ought to do to make our lives better, but we lack the implementation. Is something missing? No, but instead there has been a misconception!
We want to make that change, but we cannot get it done. The problem we have is not lack of effort but lack of correct notion! What do you understand about changing?
We (Tanzania’s) had election campaigns in the year 2015, and the motto used by presidential contestants had a similar keyword,”Mabadiliko” in English is to say, “Changes.” This can help us understand what the meaning of changing in our daily life is.
If we are to change our lives, let’s not take anything away from it, but we are to replace one thing with something better.
For a drunkard man to change his character, he is not only supposed to quit drinking but has to find another thing better to do instead of drinking beer; then he has changed.
Trying to stop the bad lifestyle is not enough to bring about changes in our lives, it only deepens the need for reliving it once more. But when we replace it with a better and useful lifestyle, then change is assured.
