The world is filled with a lot of people with different tastes, attitudes, personalities, and characters. As a result of this, we interact and associate ourselves with different groups of people at different times.
Most times, because of the high expectations and hopes we have placed on people, we find out that we are most times disappointed.
These disappointments could cause a variety of problems ranging from paranoid, physical exchange of words, and intense conflicts.
In addition, since nature has conditioned our bodies and psyche to be imperfect, we tend to make mistakes which makes us come short of the goals or plans we have for ourselves.
Consequently, we oftentimes find it difficult to let go of some of these offenses. This most times robs us of our inner joy and peace. Instead of focusing on the lessons to be learned, we are bitter and continue to wish it never happened.
This makes carry unreasonable guilt for donkey years. The whole situation is then likened to someone who is watching a particular film several times and is expecting a different ending.
Several circumstances and situations are beyond our control and the earlier we learn to let go, the better for us. If we continue clinging on to the past, then we become haunted by it.
This ultimately affects our focus. The story then turns around like someone who desires the clothes he used while he was much younger apparently forgetting that they are passed, useless, and irrelevant and that there are better garments to be worn as he or she grows older.
It is best to close the book, forgetting the past and understanding that one is on a mission to find love, beauty, and passion in and around you. Knowing these keeps on the right track and sharpens our focus.
