Often times, people perceive that good luck doesn’t smile with them at all. Such perception leads them to opine “I am unlucky”. They disavow the existence of good luck. However, they fail to realize that luck shifts- it’s either good or bad.
Good luck is temporary. At times, good luck favours us and jettisons us at some point to allow room for bad luck. When favoured by good luck, we are encapsulated in success, and when it (good luck) vacates, failure becomes a friend. Neither of them stays with us forever!
Success and failure are intimates; they move in the same direction. That is why we succeed -and botched- in our daily activities. No one becomes prosperous at all times, and no one fails perpetually. We will always be in the middle, i.e. we succeed and fail.
Many of us are afraid to fail, and because of that, we don’t make use of opportunities that come our way. The fear of failure should not deter us from pursuing our dreams. Fear is spiritual and mental perdition! It comes from intense psychological problems.
It punishes our minds and keeps us idle. We must defeat fear if we want to succeed in our daily activities. The thirty-second president of the United States of America, Franklin D. Roosevelt, was in no error when he told Americans in his first inaugural address in 1933,
“Only thing to fear is fear itself “.
Through failure, we understand and feel the sweetness of success like sharks enjoy swimming in oceans. Failure should not throttle us from developing and growing. It is true that we are not thrilled when we fail, but we must swallow the bitterness and utilize it as a stem to progress to where we dream to be. If that is done, only then we can realize the true oscillation of luck.
