Pain is a collective experience – the rich, the poor, the always smiling, the ever frowning, and the list goes on, have all experience pain at one point in life in different ways.
Be careful what you say because you don’t know who gets hurt. Do not judge a human being for being human. Pain is a name without a face; it only takes the face of our jobs, husband, wife, our six-year-old, our colleagues, etc. We are forced to believe that people are the cause of our pain, but the reality is everyone is hurt, there’s nobody who has not been lied to, cheated out of what they deserve and ignored by people they love. We’ve all been hurt.
Often, we let pain convince us that we deserve to be treated this way, persuade us into denying ourselves the joy that comes naturally from accepting the warmth of a smile.
Fight the pain, not the face, pain has no face; it can only take form. Some people have given themselves to pain that they look in the mirror and all they see is pain. In an attempt to get rid of the pain, they try to kill themselves, sabotage themselves yet pain remains while their true self fades away.
Ignore the pain and get your life back, get your family back; only love can wash away the pain.
Bring sunshine into your life again; you have this life because you are the only one powerful enough to curve the storms and give meaning to it.
