Ways to boost your immune system
World Health Organization (WHO) has noted that having a good immune system increases a patient’s chances of surviving the deadly coronavirus. Scientists are working round the clock to find a possible cure or vaccine to stop the virus.

While observing the regulations set up by the World Health Organization (WHO) and governments, it’s also important to maintain a good immune system to increase your chances of surviving the virus. Boosting your immune system isn’t as difficult as you may think it is, no medicine or supplements necessary, but just by doing two things!.

1. Eating right
It is often said that we are what we eat, as a result of that having a well-balanced diet routine keeps your body systems up and running smoothly.

It is important to note that eating fresh fruits and vegetables is very vital in improving the immune system. Fruits are highly packed with vitamins and minerals that make sure your body can resist diseases. Drinking lots of water is vital too, it keeps the body hydrated and washes your system clean.

We leave in a world today where most of what we eat is processed and packaged, which makes most of what we eat unsafe and harmful to our body systems, especially with the preservatives added to it to keep it fresh. Diseases like cancer and obesity have their origins buried deep in processed foods.

To stay healthy, one must learn how to eat right and avoid eating junk food. No one is saying you have to be a vegetarian but at least try to get fresh food, whether it’s vegetables or meat. More so age is also a factor, your diet changes as you grow older or if you have a previous medical condition let’s say diabetes or hypertension, you may need to visit a nutritionist for advice. Eating right has a lot of twist to it, find out what works for you, and start leaving a healthy and happy life.

2. Exercise
Exercising is not about going to the gym three times a week, but making sure that you burn enough calories and body fats a day. The average body system requires up to 20 minutes of exercise a day to run smoothly.

So if it’s jogging, dancing, walking or even going to a fitness house. Whichever works best for you. Exercising at home is also good, try out simple exercises at home, you can get a workout app on your phone and follow up, easy you see.
Exercise has other health benefits like keeping your mind clear, good muscle tone, maintaining body fats level, and in general, keep your body systems and vitals running smoothly.

Try out these tips and you’d be surprised how your health would be transformed for the better good. Remember it actually costs less to stay healthy than to be sick.

Yes, it actually costs less to stay healthy than to be sick, but the problem here is that not everyone can afford to stay healthy especially the less privillaged ones, they can bearly eat one square meal a day let alone to stay healthy.
