How come?

How come?

This is for the streets and the children. For children who cry on the streets and for children who sleep on sheets of flags of countries that know no peace.

This is for the forgiving. For those who forgive, and for those who think they are beyond forgiving.

This is for those who believe what’s written and for those who write to reach out to the non-believers because it’s written.

For the leaders who swear with constitutions but they have different constitution from their bedrooms.

For those who read the budgets that are written on the papers, and yet things becomes different on the ground. Billions are borrowed that leaves poor citizens to pay while the “big fish” enjoy the wealth.

For our rotten judiciaries, where the accused feels so comfortable and safe to be knowing that money will exchange hands on the dark side of justice.

Lack of peace is not just war, no peace in government offices where free delivery services turns to be free-pay society.

This is for those who use their art as a tool to survive. For graphic designers and sound producers working under a system that welcomes no new ideas.

This is for those who will need a sitting allowance to stand for humanity. The activists who go through hell to fight for the rights of the voiceless.

This is for a country with over 75% youth, and yet still finds a way to make them feel marginalized. They create jobs during campaigns to win the elections and later on disappear in the thin air.

This is for those who have to be told to see others as their children, their sisters, because that’s how they find humanity. They kill in the name of religion, they abort, they kill to steal.

This is for the many who are behind bars innocently. Because they are poor they lack to get an expensive lawyer- therefore lack justice.

This is for the government officials, who report at work, leave a coat on the chair and get into thin air laving suffering citizens waiting to be served.

This is for the lazy doctors and nurses, who get to work to gossip while a patient dies waiting on the que. Mothers in pain who delivers on the floors because of the long que.

This is for animals of owners who leave, who don’t come back and don’t say goodbye.

How come? Where did our democracy erode? Where did we go wrong? Who will safe us if all who turns to be in the government inherit the same characters? How come!!!
