Doppelganger identical to the theory of parallel existence

Few years back, I remember reading an article about social media creating identity crises among people and years later we are struggling with the new concept of ‘doppelganger.’

Now you might be thinking what a doppelganger is? Well, it is related to a recent trend of look-alike images of people you have been noticing on social media handles. It can be defined as a person with a similar physical appearance but biologically different. Be that memes of Alia Bhatt by her look alike, identical images of Salman Khan, Virat Kohli look alike, etc. the people are anxious about locating their look-alikes. This reminded me of the conversation I had few months back regarding the theory of parallel existence that states that there are many infinite parallel universes and cosmic patches existing exactly like ours in some other world.

The inception of this world has been the aftermath of Big Bang theory that has resulted in the astronomical theory of multiverse which believes that there is a possibility of multiple universes coexisting in space like daughter universe, infinite universe, mathematical universe, bubble universe, and parallel universe. It is believed that in the parallel universe, taking space and time as flat as they have no shape and is thought to go forever. Therefore, the arrangements of the particle within the cosmic patches is expected to repeat them many times over.

The last paper of the famous Stephen Hawking’s also dealt with the multiverse. In an interview published in The Washington Post, he said: “we are not down to a single, unique universe, but our findings imply a significant reduction of the multiverse to a much smaller range of possible universes.”

Therefore, believing our earth to be the tiniest planet on humongous milky way galaxy and we being ignorant to other galaxies and universe, a lot of truth remains unknown, thus leaving us in contradiction on the theory of parallel existence as well.

To be considered as intelligent species of this earth and living a life with a whim, we are happy finding our lookalikes and comparing ourselves with them and posting it on social media. But what we cannot attain is their destiny and biological genes.

So, somewhere, sometime and at some place, you happen to see your identical, I am sure this article will undoubtedly make you recall your similar clone is somewhere in another universe, living the way you live.
