Have you wondered why small businesses collapsed after a few years in operation? What about profits declined in the large firm? And why is it difficult for start-up businesses to be stable in the business after the kick-off?
Are you in business to satisfy your self ? or to meet the needs of people and in meeting their needs you also meet yours. It’s very difficult for small businesses to realised that they are in the business to meet the needs of the people not until when they are not making sales.
Therefore, the survival of any business depends on the satisfaction of the customers. It is pertinent that you do not neglect the need to satisfy your customers, this is because you are in the business because of them(customers). And naturally, we are all customers in one way or the other.
Remember that, once your customers are satisfied you are satisfied too and vice versa. The customer is a King and you should treat him like one.
Know what your customers want and listen to them, supply what they are asking you for if you can but don’t fail them so that your business integrity would not be questioned.
Your profits in business are the function of the customers’ satisfaction. Take care of your customers and never loose one and it is better to maintain one customer than to lose one customer because he will spread the bad news about your business due to the bad treatment you showed to him. And in the long run, you will start losing customers one by one.
Try to know you, customers, by name if possible and address by their names whenever they come for business..
